Norway Records NOK 18.2 Billion in Seafood Exports During October

On 4 November, the Norwegian Seafood Council reported that Norway exported seafood worth NOK 18.2 billion in October 2026. Salmon exports reached a record monthly value of NOK 13 billion, while whole frozen mackerel reached a record average export price of NOK 54 per kilogram. Poland was the largest seafood export market at NOK 2.75 billion, followed by the United States at NOK 1.2 billion and China at NOK 1.16 billion.
