Vitroscope Secures USD 7 Million to Commercialise Automated Live-Tissue Research Technology

On 3 November, Norwegian biotech company Vitroscope announced USD 7 million in combined seed investment and non-dilutive funding to expand its vitro.alive platform and develop vitro.scale. The technology uses automated perfusion to maintain living human tissue under controlled conditions for research, with customer testing of the higher-throughput system expected in 2027. The development creates opportunities for laboratory automation, research software and biotech technology providers. HPC can support technology assessments, commercialisation planning and digital-market research.
